【小曦老師在英國百年靈】畢業了 —— Aurora’s Finale

4月29日，最後一天工作日。

30日，表定的休假日，也是技術上我最後一天在職的日子。

在聚集了所有直營店同事的總群組，送出我的感謝訊息後，我陸續退出了所有工作相關群組，只留下直屬團隊的那一個。直到午夜12點，我在送出給5月1日生日的店經理的祝福後，便退出了。

這一趟旅程，終於走到了這裡，而我非常平靜。

3月28日，在送出離職信後的當天早上，我就一併寫好、送出了 email 感謝函，給：

1. 一直很照顧我的、媽媽般的存在的 HR Katie

2. 我們 retail 部門的直屬主管、去年花了好些時間處理我和店經理之間摩擦的 Lee

3. 以及當年決定贊助我工作簽證、也一直都很尊重我的聲音的百年靈英國總經理 Gavin

除此之外，離職前一週，我也陸續寄出給其他四間直營店，和我熟悉的總公司同事們的感謝卡。

離職前三天，我甚至卯起來寄出了至少 50 封 email，給我的 VIP 客戶們，以及曾在 Google Reviews 和公司問卷調查中，給了我正面評價、在評論中提及我名字的客人。

在這最後一個月裡，也許因為是我的生日月帶來了幸運，也因為我想一如既往地好好表現、走得漂亮，所以依然維持了我一貫的工作水準、毫無鬆懈，最後當之無愧地拿下本月敝店業績冠軍。

我想，自己做得不只是仁至義盡，也已盡我全力圓滿收尾，在我最後的百年靈舞台上，獻出了完美的終曲，然後在大家的掌聲中，帶著我的驕傲與微笑，華麗謝幕。

公司同事們在我離職前後的拜訪、卡片、花束、禮物、電話，以及客戶們在收到我的 email 後回覆給我的溫暖字句，都是對我在這段為期4年半的百年靈旅程所做出的貢獻中，最大的肯定。

同事說，我的離開是 the end of an era，想必我也算是公司裡一道閃亮亮的極光傳說吧。

那麼，Aurora 要下台一鞠躬，走向我知道自己即將用終生演出的教學與寫作舞台囉。

極光在英國，即將要更加美麗閃耀。

Aurora’s Finale at Breitling UK

29 April marked my final working day at Breitling.

30 April, technically my final day of employment, was spent quietly stepping away from the role that had been such a significant part of my life over the past four and a half years.

After sending my farewell message to our wider retail team group chat, I gradually left all work-related groups, leaving only my direct team chat until midnight, after sending birthday wishes to my boutique manager, whose birthday falls on 1 May.

Just like that, this journey came to an end.

And I feel incredibly calm and peaceful.

On the very same morning I submitted my resignation on 28 March, I also sent personal thank-you emails to:

• Katie, our HR, who had always supported me with so much care and kindness

• Lee, our Retail Director, who spent considerable time supporting and guiding me through challenging moments over the past year

• Gavin, our UK Managing Director, who approved my work visa sponsorship when I met all the requirements back in 2023, and always treated my voice with respect

During my final week, I also wrote and sent handwritten thank-you cards to managers across our London boutiques and colleagues from head office whom I had the pleasure of working with over the years.

Three days before leaving, I sent over 50 personal emails to VIP clients and to customers who had previously mentioned me in Google reviews and company surveys. Their warm replies reminded me just how meaningful genuine human connection can be.

Throughout my final month, I continued to work to the standard I had always held myself to. Perhaps my birthday month brought me some luck, or perhaps I simply wanted to leave beautifully. In the end, I finished my final month as the top salesperson in the boutique.

I truly feel I gave everything I could to this chapter.

I closed this stage of my life with pride, gratitude, and no regrets – offering my very best performance until the final curtain call.

The visits, cards, flowers, gifts, phone calls, and heartfelt messages from colleagues and clients alike have become the greatest affirmation of everything I contributed during my time at Breitling.

Our assistant manager, my role model at work, Sophie, described my departure as ‘the end of an era.’

Perhaps Aurora really did become a little legend within the company after all.

Now, Aurora takes one final bow, and walks towards the stage I know I am meant to dedicate my life to – teaching and writing.

With deep appreciation, I’m proud of my Breitling journey.

And now, Aurora in England will be shining even brighter.
