📷 Aurora’s Snaplog – hanging out with Isa♥️

Isa came to visit me today.

We went to the nail salon where I visit regularly to get our nails done together – it was the very first time for Isa to visit a nail salon in the UK (I suppose? Lol).

I’ve got a simple black one this time whereas Isa’s got her very classic red & blue design.

Then we went to my favourite pub restaurant in town. I had Beef Bourguignon (someone help me to pronounce it please) and Isa had Pork Ribeye.

I did like my mash potato, but I guess overall I was quite impressed by the pork that Isa ordered than my beef. In general it was still very nice.

It costed us £48 in total.

We decided to skip pudding at the pub, instead, we went to the other tea room for cakes! We were attempted by those good looking and tasty cakes in the window when we were on the way to the nail salon earlier actually.

I ordered the Lemon Squeezey whereas Isa had the Banafeeeee. Hopefully I didn’t get their names wrong lol.

After pudding, we went to a cute gift shop. I bought quite a lot birthday cards for incoming birthdays of my family in Taiwan. I know I’ll need to remind myself, fundamentally, don’t be lazy, be proactive to write and send them out, instead of just putting them on my desk without doing nothing!😂

Finally, we have done some shopping at Waitrose and an Italian food shop called Umberto’s.

I was so keen on trying the new Charlie Bigham’s new meal Spanish Chicken and Roasted Potatoes! I think I might get it soon as there’s the 2 for £11 offer at Waitrose at the moment😆

I’d also want to try the cinnamon rolls. It’s on my shopping list now as well🤣

In the end, I was also very happy for Isa to get some fresh and jar pesto sauce at Umberto’s.

I had been very interested in having a look at this shop but I knew I’d end up buying nothing – as I know I’m not good at cooking. Thanks to Isa, I finally had a chance to have a browse at the store properly! To be fair, they don’t just sell cooking ingredients, so I might get some fresh food or sweets next time.

Even though the weather was kind of chucking down and a bit chilly, I was still very pleased spending few hours with Isa. Thanks love x
