一直都很喜歡＜Change＞這首歌；Carrie收錄這首歌的第三張專輯《Play On》也是我擁有她的第一張專輯，是09年聖誕節遠從美國飛來的聖誕禮物。
前陣子因為在Youtube上看到了Carrie現場演唱的影片：Change (CNN Heroes) Live，讓我再次大受感動，覺得這首歌真的意義非凡，於是動了想自己翻譯歌詞、自己演唱的念頭。
不過這翻譯還好，背歌詞真是一大功夫，我先前在SoundCloud發表過的翻唱作品通通都是中文歌，不是沒有原因的；必須說，自己似乎從來沒有背熟過任何喜歡的西洋流行樂歌詞（不過今年紅到翻的＜Let It Go＞倒是唱到背得起來了XD），也許是因為喜歡的西洋歌曲幾乎不太有在台灣KTV唱到的機會吧，既然沒有唱的機會，也就沒特別去練習跟背誦。
所以這次錄＜Change＞之前，我花了好些時間在看歌詞、背歌詞，模仿Carrie唱歌詞時的咬字和連音等等，好不容易終於練到磨出了一個雛形，也真正體會到＜Change＞有、多、難、唱！
這首歌的音域廣且高，副歌的樂句之間沒有太多換氣的空間，加上歌詞相當「綿密」；一連幾天練唱下來，深深體會到Carrie「鐵肺女王」的美名真的不是蓋的！
決定要錄＜Change＞之後，我順利地在iTunes Store上找到了卡拉帶（卡拉帶還有分low、medium、high等三種key，真貼心），試了半天還是覺得原key最好聽，最後心一橫就花20元把卡拉帶買了回來，要自己勢必生出這首作品！
雖說Carrie即將在12月發行的精選《Greatest Hits: Decade #1》並沒有收這首歌，但我還是想以＜Change＞向她致敬；Carrie在這首歌中唱出了「渺小力量也能造就巨大改變」的珍貴意義，希望人們相信自己的微薄之力一定能讓周圍、社會，甚至是全世界都變得更好！
因為Carrie的歌聲和態度都太有說服力了，所以我願意就此相信這首歌的理念，相信自己手中所能發出的小小力量，也能讓人們感到愛和溫暖。
無論是歌唱本身的優缺點，還是翻譯若有不詳不實、能修潤得更好的地方，還請大家盡量賜教！
同時也預祝Carrie在12月發行的精選大賣，歌唱事業再創高峰，小寶寶平安健康地出生！
